It is one of the top three out of the 30 automotive sector companies in the ranking by the World Benchmarking Alliance and CDP published in December 2020. This ranking assesses “how companies integrate climate issues into their strategy, their efforts to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and the quality of their management of these emissions”. Renault is also one of the five companies among those ranked whose GHG reduction targets meet the Paris Agreement alignment criteria established by the International Energy Agency.
